Dream Home Club

The Dream Home Club, empowers people to get their dream homes,
and end up in a relatively short time mortgage free.

If you wish, we can show you how to get your dream homes and how to do so in a way where you can also clear any mortgages in a relatively short time. While everyone is different, have different dreams and will be at different points along the path, most of the skills and inside information we show you, information we share and planning we assist you to do for yourself, will apply to just about everyone. People, members, may choose to use it in slightly different ways and select different priorities and starting points and make progress at the speed that is right for them.

Our approach is not formulaic, but one based on analysis of you, your current situation and your targets, and planning to reach them. Acquiring knowledge and skills and taking actions that will result in you achieving your dreams.

We can help you get over

  • Not having a high enough salary to qualify for a mortgage
  • Not being able to afford a mortgage
  • All your income ending up in the hands of your mortgage lender
  • Being stuck in a property that is short of your dream home

For most, the initial concentration is in getting the ideal main home, but many will also want to move on eventually to adding a holiday home as well. Being able to achieve this and wipe out all mortgages will allow you to have a lifestyle most will only dream of.

This is achieved by

  • Planning
  • Information
  • Setting and meeting targets
  • Creating extra income and multiplying up the cash that you make
  • Extra work, although we show you how you can enjoy this
  • Managing your money and buying better

Knowledge and choice is the key, to achieving this, no miracles are necessary, and nothing unpleasant needs to be taken on, the progress you decide you want to make is entirely up to you. Anyone can achieve the objectives if they wish, our task is just to empower you and offer opportunities that will allow you to achieve.

This is

  • Not connected with property as an investment or income, we want to help people to get their homes and holiday homes to enjoy themselves
  • Not connected with any Lottery or game of chance
  • Not connected with any Investment scheme, insurance, estate agents, political or religious group
  • We do not provide or broker mortgages, or offer any financial services

The Dream Home Club is run by New Atlantis a UK non profit company whose main objective is to improve the quality of peoples lives and has a history going back over 40 years. The Dream Home Club works with other non profit organisations as well as others to assist its members to understand their options, plan their future and have opportunities to create considerable extra income.

Each month members get a newsletter and several modules, the modules are A5 booklets explaining a particular area or topic, and in some cases also with work sheets, books or financial models. You are not flooded with information but have it fed to you in a structured way, allowing you to learn, understand and apply skills from the first month, and add to your knowledge month on month, making your own decisions, always being in charge of your own destiny. Our role is not to tell you what you should do, but to allow you to understand, and be able to make the decisions that suit you, knowing the options and the ways that will allow you to succeed.

Example 1

Although no two people or couples are the same, let us look at an example, a young couple John is 28 and Jenny is 24, they both work, and have incomes but their combined salaries are not up to qualifying for a mortgage in the area in which they live. Even if they could get a starter home by some means currently, it would be nothing near their dream home. They currently spend more on rent than a mortgage would cost.

They have set their target stages as

  1. Understand current position and take control

  2. Clear credit cards and current loans

  3. Raise funds

  4. Get a home with a reasonable mortgage

  5. Pay off mortgage ASAP

  6. Get dream home

  7. Clear mortgage ASAP

  8. Build funds

  9. Get holiday home, with 50% mortgage

  10. Clear holiday home mortgage ASAP

They have set their target to achieve target 4 in 18 months, target 6 in 4 years and all within 8 years.

They will achieve this by, a combination of understanding, being in control and creating several extra income streams and multiplying up rapidly the money they make.

How are they getting on with this

Jenny says "We were surprised just how much extra control we were able to take, and the large amount we were able to save after working on the first segment.  We have cleared all credit cards and loans now, and this is making a great difference, we have completed the next part, raising a small amount by various means and about to move on to creating a good secondary income, this will replace our current hobbies and will be both more fun and profitable, plus while we are earning the money this way, we won't be spending as much, I am confident we will meet all our targets."

John added "I have never seen Jenny as happy, she is really enjoying this, and  while I was a little less convinced before we started, I am now recommending all my friends to join. Obviously you could find out most of what we have been shown somehow, but not in a format that would be as easy to follow and act upon. I have just found out how to chop a third of the price of our dream home. The only thing we disagree about is who should read the segments first when they arrive."

Example 2

Ben is in his forties, he has a  home, wife, 2 children and a large mortgage to support. With the increase in everything from council tax, motoring, tax and mortgage rates he was struggling, credit card balances and loans have increased making the situation worse.

He has set his targets as

  1. Understand current position and take control

  2. Get a second income stream up and running fast

  3. Clear credit cards and current loans

  4. Reduce mortgage

  5. Then re-plan, with view to a nicer home, but with minimal borrowings.

Ben decided not to set a time scale, just to achieve it as soon as he can.

How is he doing

Ben says " I fell into the trap of borrowing too much, and didn't discover until later the high costs and effects of this. If I had not taken control I would have lost everything, luckily I discovered the club in time and now will be able to create a large enough extra income to get rid of the loans, card balances and in a while reduce the mortgage to a manageable level. With all the funds over that would have gone to pay loans, credit cards and mortgage I will have far more options open to me, and by then the knowledge to allow me to decide what to do next. I could not have done this on my own."

Example 3

Wendy is 20, she has a job, but is not ready to commit to moving in with her boyfriend yet, but would like a home of her own. She does not want to share, and is unable to get a mortgage due to the earning multiplier used by lenders. She feels that she would like to get on the housing ladder, perhaps get an apartment now, and move to a house later when she is ready to set up a home with her boyfriend or they get married. She is currently staying with her sister and her family, who she gets on with but feels she is in the way. She currently has some savings and no significant card or other debts. She already feels she is in control, but has limited options. In the longer term she would like her own business, but wants to get the home sorted and paid for first.

Wendy has set her targets as

  1. Extend her knowledge of the options, and open up more
  2. Select a means of creating a good extra income that she enjoys doing
  3. Get apartment
  4. Learn  new skills to allow a larger salary or other options to be possible
  5. Reduce apartment mortgage
  6. Build savings towards getting dream home
  7. Re-plan with knowledge available at that time
How is she doing

Wendy said "I want it all, a dream home, husband, family, and enjoyable job, ideally eventually being my own boss. While some may say I have plenty of years to achieve this, I want to see where I'm going, and be able to see all the time that I can achieve this. I just don't think I could be happy trapped in a high density place, and all my income going to pay for it, I want more out of life. I may not achieve all that I set out to, but at least I'm giving it my best effort, and what's more its the best game in town, far more fun than you could imagine and I just love setting smaller targets between my main ones and achieving them early. I think the club has opened up a lot for me but its not for everyone, after all if they could all take control and make their dreams a reality, what would they have to moan about then. I really like having my information by email, instead of the postal option, it not only saves trees but I get it faster".
